Breed - albino Alsatian AKA German Sheperd
Personality - Hewie is very laid back and it usually takes a lot to anger him. When angered, however, he can put up a good fight. He's more on the neutral side on the war between the dogs and the wolves. Heck, he had a wolf friend or two. He defends his friends, and he'd defend his family too - if he had any. Abandoned and alone, and yet not actually alone. He liked his solitude, but didn't mind company. Liked it actually, but he did not dwell on the past nor did he mope around and wallow in his loneliness.
Sample Post - [ from a role-play between me and a friend - italics are my friend's reply ]
"Try facing into the wind, it'll help." Kaundo replied, patient to try and teach his new friend to fly. He hovered above Dorrin, encouraging him to try for himself.
Dorrin glanced up at Kaundo, then straight ahead. He waited until there was a gust of wind at his back, then he ran. He opened up his wings and leapt into the air, catching a current. He glided along at half a foot above the ground.
Kaundo flew down to Dorrin a small smile on his face. He glided beside Dorrin every once in awhile touching the earth and running, then jumping back into the air. "It's hard flying so low you know.." He began, a hint of humor in his voice. "Flap your wings."
Dorrin glanced at Kaundo. Flap? He slowly raised his wings, flapping a little, trying to imitate Kaundo. He got a little nervous, since when he raised his wings, he started to go down. He panicked, and ended up crashing into the ground.
Kaundo chuckled and landed beside Dorrin. He smiled kindly and spoke. "To get more air before flapping you could always try jumping off a hill... or a cliff, which I don't really recommend. I forgot that the flapping does move you up and down a bit, sorry."
Dorrin growled lowly, getting up slowly and shaking himself off. "Aye, do not dwell upon it..." he agreed slowly, folding his wings slightly, looking around for a hill.
Kaundo tilted his head curiously at Dorrin. "Can you climb trees?" He asked, slightly off subject. He let his eyes drift away from Dorrin, looking around the mostly flat landscape. He was lost in his thoughts, but still listening.
Dorrin nodded. "That I can"
Kaundo flashed Dorrin a smile. "Want to try taking off from the top of a tree?" He meant it half jokingly, but was still interested in what Dorrin would say.
Dorrin glanced at a nearby tree. He studied it for a bit, then slowly hissed, "...that could work"
Kaundo wagged his tail and walked up to the tree. He looked up in the branches and spoke. "I'm not much of a tree person... You can try to take off from up there, I'll be down here, watching." He grinned and waved Dorrin over with his tail. "I'm sure you can do it."
